Bruce Reid is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation, as well as a Director. Mr. Reid was also the President and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Silver Corp. from June 2006 to November 2009 as well as Vice-President, Corporate Finance of Research Capital from 2002 to 2006. Mr. Reid brings to the Corporation extensive experience in corporate finance and in the mining and mineral exploration industry. His background includes more than 30 years of direct experience in the mining industry following graduation with a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Toronto in 1979 and a finance degree from the University of Windsor.
Julio DiGirolamo CA
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. DiGirolamo has over 16 years of senior-level public company experience including five years with Greenstone Resources Ltd., a TSX and NASDAQ-listed gold mining company with activities focused in four Latin American countries. For the last 11 years, Mr. DiGirolamo has been the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of Innovium Media Properties Corp., a publicly-traded early stage investor, during which period he also acted as interim Chief Financial Officer at Seed Media Group LLC and as Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary and Director of Atlantis Systems Corp.
Donald A. Sheldon
Chief Administrative Officer & Corporate Secretary
Donald A. Sheldon is the Chief Administrative Officer and the Corporate Secretary of the Corporation, as well as a Director. Mr. Sheldon is also the Executive Officer of Sheldon Huxtable Professional Corporation (a law firm) and he has been advising mining company clients for over 30 years on a wide array of legal issues, including issues relating to corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities law, corporate governance and regulatory compliance. Mr. Sheldon received a B.A.Sc. in 1970 and an M.A.Sc. in 1972 from the University of Toronto, as well as an LL.B from the Osgoode Hall School of Law in 1974.
Peter Karelse P. Geo.
Vice President, Exploration
Mr Karelse is a member of the APGO and has more than 25 years of experience in the national and international mining industry. He has been involved in all phases of a mine's lifecycle from grassroots exploration through to advanced projects and mine development. His experience has focused on the exploration and development of Vein type gold deposits and Magmatic Base metal deposits throughout North America; specializing in geological modeling, mining program and personnel management.
In addition he has been extensively involved in due diligence work for acquisitions, preparation of mineral resource and mineral reserve estimates, and the writing of NI 43-101 technical reports.
From 2006 to present, Mr Karelse is the Geological Consultant for Carlisle Goldfields Ltd. He has directed the development programs that have significantly increased the overall gold resource base for the MacLellan project area.
From 2001-2006, Mr. Karelse was the Exploration and Development Manager for Crowflight Minerals Inc. and was a key team member that established the large land position in the Sudbury Basin which included the AER Kidd Platinum project area. In addition Mr. Karelse directed exploration activities associated with the expansion and eventual production decision of the Bucko Nickel Deposit resource.
Previously Mr. Karelse directed the initial underground and surface development program for the Hoyle Pond gold mine. The results of this program led to an eventual production decision.
He holds a Diploma of Geological Engineering Technology from Cambrian College, Sudbury, Ontario and a Post Graduate Diploma of Geographic Information Systems from Niagara College, Niagara-on -the-Lake, Ontario.
Carl McGill
Vice President, Corporate Development
Carl McGill is the Vice-President, Corporate Development of the Corporation as well as a Director. Mr. McGill has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry and is a Principal of Boathouse Capital Advisory Group, a Toronto based merchant banking operation. Mr. McGill was instrumental in raising funds for Carlisle in its' seed capital round of financing and in assisting with the Corporation's IPO. Mr. McGill assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer on July 4, 2008, after the previous President was terminated by the Board. On July 31, 2009 Mr. McGill assisted in the formation of the current slate of experienced Directors and served as interim President and Chief Executive Officer (as well as Director) until January 28, 2010 when Mr. McGill's successor was appointed.
Rick Adams P.Eng
VP Operations
Mr. Adams is a graduate of South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and has 39 years experience in mining operations and development in Canada and internationally, in capacities ranging from Project Engineer to Senior Vice-President. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in developing open-pit and underground mining operations and has a proven track record of operating safe, profitable and environmentally sound projects. Most recently he has been involved with pre-feasability, feasibility and project management functions as a consultant to the Canadian and International mining companies. He has been working with Carlisle on a consulting basis since July, 2011.
