Surface Rights and Permits

Carlisle owns 100 % of the surface rights on all mining leases; claims are crown grants and include access to the surface. All claims have been located by staking out on the ground as per The Mines and Minerals Act of Manitoba. Assessment work, in the amount of $12.50/ha for each of the second to the 10th years, and $25.00/ha for the 11th year and for each year thereafter, is required to be completed annually on claim licenses.

The MacLellan Property includes road access, power line, headframe, hoist house and shaft to 448 m with 5 levels, ramp access from surface to 420 m below, maintenance building, core shack, vent raise, mine water settling ponds, and other mine infrastructure.

Carlisle was in possession of all work permits required for exploration work by diamond drilling. Hennessey et al. (2007) noted two permits:

  • General Permit GP 3126 (MacLellan Mine Property) granted to maintain and / or operate a mine site (powder magazine) and covers claims CBI0349, P5478E and PS477E (held by 2791341 Manitoba Ltd ("2791341")). The permit was issued on Crown Lands.
  • General Permit GP 0112 granted to allow construction and maintenance of an all weather road from PR391 to the MacLellan site (held by 2791341). The permit was issued on Crown Lands.
