Bruce Reid is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation, as well as a Director. Mr. Reid was also the President and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Silver Corp. from June 2006 to November 2009 as well as Vice-President, Corporate Finance of Research Capital from 2002 to 2006. Mr. Reid brings to the Corporation extensive experience in corporate finance and in the mining and mineral exploration industry. His background includes more than 30 years of direct experience in the mining industry following graduation with a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Toronto in 1979 and a finance degree from the University of Windsor.
Donald A. Sheldon
Donald A. Sheldon is the Chief Administrative Officer, Legal Council, and Corporate Secretary of the Corporation, as well as a Director. Mr. Sheldon is also the Executive Officer of Sheldon Huxtable Professional Corporation (a law firm) and he has been advising mining company clients for over 30 years on a wide array of legal issues, including issues relating to corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities law, corporate governance and regulatory compliance. Mr. Sheldon received a B.A.Sc. in 1970 and an M.A.Sc. in 1972 from the University of Toronto, as well as an LL.B from the Osgoode Hall School of Law in 1974.
James Macintosh
Mr. Macintosh is currently the President and CEO of Continental Mining & Smelting Ltd. Mr. Macintosh has 25 years experience in the mining industry and as a mining analyst. For the past 18 years he has held various executive and directorial positions with numerous public and private companies in Canada and the United States. Mr. Macintosh spent the last ten years as the President, COO and Director of Innovium Media Properties Corp., an early stage investor. Mr. Macintosh sits on the Board of Directors and chairs the Audit Committees of U.S. Silver Corporation, Carlisle Goldfields Ltd. and GTA Resources and Mining Inc. He is also a Director of Continental Mining and Smelting Limited, Canuc Resources Corporation, Acadian Energy Inc., Cordillera Gold Ltd. and Atlas Precious Metals Inc. Mr. Macintosh graduated from Queen's University with a B.Sc. (Honours, Geological Sciences) and now sits on the Queen's University Geology Council.
Carl McGill
Carl McGill is the Vice-President, Corporate Development of the Corporation as well as a Director. Mr. McGill has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry and is a Principal of Boathouse Capital Advisory Group, a Toronto based merchant banking operation. Mr. McGill was instrumental in raising funds for Carlisle in its' seed capital round of financing and in assisting with the Corporation's IPO. Mr. McGill assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer on July 4, 2008, after the previous President was terminated by the Board. On July 31, 2009 Mr. McGill assisted in the formation of the current slate of experienced Directors and served as interim President and Chief Executive Officer (as well as Director) until January 28, 2010 when Mr. McGill's successor was appointed.
Steve Mintz
Steve Mintz is a director of the Corporation. He is the current Chief Financial Officer and a director of Pounder Venture Capital Corp.and a director of Skyberry Capital Corp. He is also a director of Carlisle Goldfields Limited., a Canadian based gold exploration and development company, and Brownstone Ventures Inc. a publicly traded Oil and Gas exploration company. a. He has been a chartered accountant for 18 years. Since 2007, he has been active as the President, Chief Financial Officer and director of a private venture capital company. Mr. Mintz has been involved as a director in a number of public companies. Mr. Mintz attained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Toronto in 1989
Frank Smeenk
Frank Smeenk is a Director of the Corporation. He is currently the President & CEO of KWG Resources Inc and of Fletcher Nickel Inc., and is a Director of Strike Minerals Inc. and of Debuts Diamonds Inc. He earned his B.A. and LL.B. degrees at the University of Western Ontario and was admitted to The Law Society of Upper Canada in 1976. In 1987 he left the practice of law to join the resource industry and has served as Executive Director of Deak Resources Corporation and as Chairman and CEO of both MacDonald Mines Exploration Limited and MacDonald Oil Exploration Limited, when they were both active in exploring their various concessions in the Republic of Cuba. He has been a director of numerous resource companies including Northfield Capital Corporation, Northfield Minerals Inc., NFX Gold Inc., Genoil Inc., Nuinsco Resources Limited, Perrex Gold Inc., Conquest Resources Limited and Armistice Resources Limited
