Directors

Bruce Reid

Bruce Reid is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation, as well as a Director. Mr. Reid was also the President and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Silver Corp. from June 2006 to November 2009 as well as Vice-President, Corporate Finance of Research Capital from 2002 to 2006. Mr. Reid brings to the Corporation extensive experience in corporate finance and in the mining and mineral exploration industry. His background includes more than 30 years of direct experience in the mining industry following graduation with a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Toronto in 1979 and a finance degree from the University of Windsor.

Donald A. Sheldon

Donald A. Sheldon is the Chief Administrative Officer, Legal Council, and Corporate Secretary of the Corporation, as well as a Director. Mr. Sheldon is also the Executive Officer of Sheldon Huxtable Professional Corporation (a law firm) and he has been advising mining company clients for over 30 years on a wide array of legal issues, including issues relating to corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities law, corporate governance and regulatory compliance. Mr. Sheldon received a B.A.Sc. in 1970 and an M.A.Sc. in 1972 from the University of Toronto, as well as an LL.B from the Osgoode Hall School of Law in 1974.

James Macintosh

Mr. Macintosh is currently the President and CEO of Continental Mining & Smelting Ltd. Mr. Macintosh has 25 years experience in the mining industry and as a mining analyst. For the past 18 years he has held various executive and directorial positions with numerous public and private companies in Canada and the United States. Mr. Macintosh spent the last ten years as the President, COO and Director of Innovium Media Properties Corp., an early stage investor. Mr. Macintosh sits on the Board of Directors and chairs the Audit Committees of U.S. Silver Corporation, Carlisle Goldfields Ltd. and GTA Resources and Mining Inc. He is also a Director of Continental Mining and Smelting Limited, Canuc Resources Corporation, Acadian Energy Inc., Cordillera Gold Ltd. and Atlas Precious Metals Inc. Mr. Macintosh graduated from Queen's University with a B.Sc. (Honours, Geological Sciences) and now sits on the Queen's University Geology Council.

Carl McGill

Carl McGill is the Vice-President, Corporate Development of the Corporation as well as a Director. Mr. McGill has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry and is a Principal of Boathouse Capital Advisory Group, a Toronto based merchant banking operation. Mr. McGill was instrumental in raising funds for Carlisle in its' seed capital round of financing and in assisting with the Corporation's IPO. Mr. McGill assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer on July 4, 2008, after the previous President was terminated by the Board. On July 31, 2009 Mr. McGill assisted in the formation of the current slate of experienced Directors and served as interim President and Chief Executive Officer (as well as Director) until January 28, 2010 when Mr. McGill's successor was appointed.

Steve Mintz

Steve Mintz is a director of the Corporation. He is the current Chief Financial Officer and a director of Pounder Venture Capital Corp.and a director of Skyberry Capital Corp. He is also a director of Carlisle Goldfields Limited., a Canadian based gold exploration and development company, and Brownstone Ventures Inc. a publicly traded Oil and Gas exploration company. a. He has been a chartered accountant for 18 years. Since 2007, he has been active as the President, Chief Financial Officer and director of a private venture capital company. Mr. Mintz has been involved as a director in a number of public companies. Mr. Mintz attained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Toronto in 1989

H. Roy Shipes

Mr. Shipes is a Director of the Corporation. He has overseen the acquisition and development of a number of mining projects in the United States, Canada, Peru, Papua New Guinea, Australia, Honduras, Bolivia, Ireland, Mexico and Venezuela. He served as vice-president and general manager of operations of Southern Peru Copper Corp., one of the largest copper producers in the world, and as chief executive officer and General Manager of OK Tedi Mining Ltd., where he developed one of the largest copper mines in the world. During his career, Mr. Shipes has founded eight mining and mine services companies including American Pacific Mining Co., AmPac Mining Southwest, Arimetco International, Suramco Metals, Transoceanic Trading Co., Western States Engineering, Western Gold Resources and Western Chemicals. Mr. Shipes is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and did post-graduate work in Mining and Metallurgical Engineering.

 

Jennifer Boyle

Jennifer is Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and President of Takara Resources.  Formerly, Ms. Boyle was the President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of St. Eugene Mining Corporation Ltd., a company recently purchased by Claude Resources Inc.  Ms. Boyle is the CEO of Satori Resources Inc. (TSXV:BUD) a spinco created from the acquisition of St. Eugene.  Ms. Boyle continues her role as President of CapEx Group Inc., a private company providing corporate finance consulting services as it relates to the organization or re-organization of junior resource issuers. In the past, Ms. Boyle has been a Co-Founding director and former Executive VP & CFO of Canadian Royalties (TSX:CZZ), Co-Founder and former Executive VP Golden Valley Mines (TSX-V: GZZ).
