Carlisle 's Exploration program at the MacLellan Gold Property consists of a diamond drilling program, including 50 to 75 drill holes totaling 20,000 to 25,000 meters. The primary objective is to confirm the “historic geological reserves” presently stated to be in the order to 976,000 tonnes grading 6.51 grams of gold per tonne. A further goal is to demonstrate that these resources may be doubled by further delineation drilling to the 525 metre level.
Phase 1 of the work plan consisted of 43 diamond drill holes, totaling 12,600 metres, and was completed in July of 2007. Final assays were received at the end of August. Resource modeling is currently underway and it is anticipated that an update to the Technical Report (43-101), including a Resource Estimate, will be available the first quarter of 2008. This report will redirect the diamond drilling program for the 2007-08 winter program.
The Company is also targeting the delivery of a Pre-feasibility study by the end of 2008. |
